Everything on MyDoctor, including the medication interaction checker, the MyDoctor Health & Wellness Score, the Patient Score, vaccine schedules and reminders, doctor, clinic and hospital rankings, articles and videos, is general information for education. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription or medical advice for you, and it does not replace a consultation with a qualified doctor, pharmacist or other health professional who knows your history.
No doctor and patient relationship
Using a MyDoctor tool or website does not create a doctor and patient relationship. A relationship with a MyDoctor clinician starts only when you book and attend a consultation.
Never stop or change a medication on your own
Do not start, stop or change any medication, dose or vaccine because of something you read or a result you see on MyDoctor. Ask your doctor or pharmacist first.
Results can be incomplete
Medication checks cover common, well-documented interactions and product label information. No list is complete. Scores and rankings are estimates from the information available and can be wrong or out of date.
Emergencies
MyDoctor is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 108 or 112 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Waiver and your responsibility
You use MyDoctor tools at your own choice and responsibility. To the fullest extent the law allows, MyDoctor, its companies, staff and partners are not liable for any decision made, or loss caused, by relying on information from these tools. Nothing here limits any right that the law of your country does not allow us to limit.
Children
If you enter details about a child or another person, you confirm you are their parent, guardian or have their permission. You must be 18 or older, or use MyDoctor with a parent or guardian.
Your data
What you enter is used to give you the result and, if you sign in, to keep your history. See the Privacy Policy. We keep a record of when you accepted this disclaimer.
MyDoctor AI
MyDoctor AI gives general health education. It is built and guided by MD/PharmD Clinical Expert MyDoctor Staff, but it is a computer program: it can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, it does not examine you, and it does not diagnose, prescribe or replace a doctor. Check anything important with your own doctor or ask for a Clinical Expert Review.
Photos, prescriptions and reports you upload
If you upload a photo (for example of a rash), a prescription, a report or any document, you confirm it is yours or you have permission to share it. It is used only to answer you, stored encrypted, and processed by MyDoctor AI on Amazon Web Services under contract. A photo cannot replace an examination; a doctor may need to see you in person. You can delete what you uploaded at any time in My data & privacy.
Improving MyDoctor AI (your choice)
MyDoctor does not use your questions, photos or documents to train or improve MyDoctor AI unless you switch on "Help improve MyDoctor AI" in My data & privacy. If you do, only copies with your name, contact details and other identifiers removed are used. You can switch it off at any time.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat; for people in the United States, by the laws of Texas. Nothing in this waiver limits rights that the law does not allow to be waived, including your rights under data protection and consumer protection laws.
India
MyDoctor follows the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines and the rules of the National Medical Commission. Medicines must be taken only as prescribed by a registered medical practitioner.
