General physician
A general physician (family doctor or internal medicine doctor) is the first doctor to see for most health problems in adults. They diagnose and treat common illnesses, manage long-term conditions and refer you to a specialist when needed.

- Stomach upsets, acidity and loose motions
- Body pain, weakness and tiredness
- Allergies and skin rashes
- Health check-ups and vaccines
When to see a doctor
- Fever for more than 2 days
- A new symptom that does not go away
- Regular follow-up of a long-term condition
