How the MyDoctor Rank works
Every profile gets a rank out of 100, shown as up to 5 stars:
- 40: Online presence and verification. From the MyDoctor Profile Score: registration, claimed profile, contact, map, services, hours, about and photo.
- 20: Patient ratings. Verified patient reviews. A few reviews count less than many, so the rank stays fair.
- 10: Documents checked by MyDoctor. Registration or licence documents checked by our Compliance team ("Documents checked", free).
- 10: Physical presence. A MyDoctor team member visited the address in the last 12 months.
- 20: MyDoctor Star Score (Expert Visit). An on-site quality assessment by MD/PharmD Clinical Expert MyDoctor Staff. These points are earned only through an Expert Visit.
Profiles are ranked in their city, state, country and the world, among the same type. Reviews come only from verified patients. Sponsored profiles are labelled and never move up the rank.

- Priority verification · US$51: documents checked within 2 working days. Registered nonprofits pay half.
- Visit verification · US$203: our team visits your address for the "Visit verified" badge, valid 12 months.
- MyDoctor Expert Visit · US$1,253 + travel and stay: an on-site quality assessment by MD/PharmD Clinical Expert MyDoctor Staff for the MyDoctor Star Score (up to 20 rank points). Ask for a visit.

About these profiles. Profiles are written and kept by the listed provider, who is responsible for every claim and for the care given. Profiles marked “Not yet claimed” come from public information and have not been checked by the provider. MyDoctor is a technology platform that facilitates finding and contacting providers; it does not give medical advice or endorse any provider. The MyDoctor Profile Score (out of 100, shown as 1–5 stars) measures only how complete and verified a profile is, not clinical quality, skill, safety or outcomes. “Documents checked” means MyDoctor staff saw a registration document; “MyDoctor Verified” means our team checked identity and registration on a video call or a visit in the last 12 months. “Sponsored” and “Featured” places are paid, always labelled and offered only to clinics, hospitals, labs and pharmacies; MyDoctor never ranks individual doctors for payment.
