Please read. MyDoctor provides the e-signature tool and keeps a record of who signed and when. MyDoctor is not a party to your documents and does not check their content. You are responsible for whether an electronic signature is acceptable for your document and for having the right to send it. In India, the Information Technology Act, 2000 recognises electronic signatures, but some documents (for example negotiable instruments, powers of attorney, trusts, wills and contracts for the sale of immovable property) are excluded or need other forms; in the United States, the ESIGN Act and state laws (UETA) generally accept electronic signatures, with exceptions such as wills. Some medical consents may also need a witness or a specific form under local rules. This is general information, not legal advice; ask your lawyer about your documents. Do not upload documents you are not allowed to share.
