Join from where you are, on your own hours. There is no interview round: MyDoctor verifies your registration against the medical register and your identity from a short video, then you start.
How it works
- Confirm your email with a 6-digit code.
- Fill in your qualifications and registration (council, number and year).
- Upload your registration certificate, degree and a photo ID.
- Record a 1-minute video on MyDoctor's screen. A one-time code and a few lines made from your own details appear on the screen; you read them and hold up your certificate and ID.
- MyDoctor checks the medical register, usually within one working day.
- Once approved, set your own fee and hours and switch on online consultations.
Earnings
- You set your own consultation fee after approval and keep all of it. MyDoctor charges doctors no commission per patient.
- Patients pay MyDoctor a separate booking fee for the service.
- No minimum number of consultations. You choose the hours patients can book.
What MyDoctor expects
- A quiet, private, well-lit space set up like a doctor's office, and professional conduct in every consultation.
- The telemedicine rules that apply to you (in India, the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines). You are responsible for your consultations; MyDoctor is your technology partner.
- Patients give consent before they join. MyDoctor takes every complaint seriously.
MyDoctor works in India and the United States. Doctors from other countries may register too: we verify you the same way, and online consultations open for your country as MyDoctor makes them available there.
