Questions
Is my CV uploaded to MyDoctor?
No. CV Studio runs in your browser. What you type is kept only in this browser so you can come back to it, and is not sent to MyDoctor. Use "Clear everything" on a shared computer.
CV or resume: which should I make?
Choose your country and role: CV Studio picks the right document and length. In India, the UK and most of Europe, a CV is the usual job document; in the United States a resume is, and a CV there means the long academic or medical record.
Should I add a photo, date of birth or marital status?
Not for the United States, the UK, Canada or Australia, where employers avoid them. CV Studio leaves them out; they are not needed for a hiring decision.
Why one column and no icons?
Hiring software reads a page left to right. Two columns, tables, text boxes and icons are the most common reasons a CV is read wrongly or not at all.
Can I edit it in Word?
The free download is a PDF, which keeps your layout and reads well. Your entries stay in this browser, so you can change them and download again at any time. Every CV Studio plan also gives you a Word file (.docx).
What does MyDoctor AI do, and what does it cost?
With a CV Studio plan, MyDoctor AI reads any old CV, including designed, scanned and non-English ones, improves your lines, matches your CV to a job post and writes a cover letter from your CV.
