How to pay from outside India: by card (Razorpay) for smaller amounts; for larger amounts, by bank transfer to the MyDoctor account in your currency (US dollars, British pounds or Japanese yen), on the invoice our Accounts team emails you.
Care persons give everyday care, not nursing: no injections, drips, wound dressing or other medical procedures. For doctor-led care between visits, see MyDoctor Wellness Care plans.
Non-medical care by trained care persons: not nursing, not medical treatment and not for emergencies (in India call 112 or 108; in the United States 911). MyDoctor's clinical team supervises the quality of care; it does not replace the person's own doctor. Prices are per month (visits: per plan), plus 18% GST in India. Pay only to MyDoctor's own UPI ID, payment link or bank accounts shown on your MyDoctor invoice: MyDoctor never asks you to pay a care person or any personal account.
Every care person is checked
Before the first assignment, MyDoctor checks each care person's identity and address, and asks for police verification. Each one has experience in everyday care at home or in a hospital, and you can ask for a replacement at any time.
A premium service, run by doctors
MyDoctor Home Care is a premium service. Every visit is supervised for training and quality by MyDoctor, with MD/PharmD Clinical Expert MyDoctor Staff trained in the United States and India, with more than 10 years in patient care, who oversee care plans, safety, compliance and quality. Every care person is trained by MyDoctor, verified (identity, address and police verification), arrives in a MyDoctor apron with a MyDoctor care kit and follows MyDoctor's care standards. Families rate the care every week; a MyDoctor care coordinator calls on any concern, and a replacement is arranged when needed. Your request, its status, the payment and the care person assigned are all in your MyDoctor account, wherever you live.
Questions
Can I arrange care for my parents in another city or country?
Yes. Request it from wherever you are. We call you and, if you like, the person who needs care, before anything is approved.
When do I pay?
Only after MyDoctor reviews the request and approves it. You get the plan, the price and a payment link by email. Each month of care is paid upfront, before it starts; pay 3 months or more upfront and save 5%. A one-time matching fee on your first care covers verification, matching and placement of your care person. Care starts after payment, on the date agreed with you.
What if the care person is unwell or on leave?
We send a replacement. On Round-the-clock Care Plus, replacements come first.
Do care persons give injections or medical treatment?
No. They help with everyday care and remind about medicines. Medical care stays with the person's doctor; MyDoctor TeleHealth and Wellness Care plans can help with that.
Is this for emergencies?
No. In an emergency call 112 or 108 in India, or 911 in the United States.
